How it works

01

Pair your safety bead

Connect your Bluetooth bead to the Bejeweled app on your phone.

02

Add your trusted circle

Choose 3 to 5 trusted contacts and write a custom message for each alert mode.

03

Practice with drill mode

Run a test alert so you and your circle know exactly what happens — no real alarm sent.

04

Press discreetly

Press your bead to trigger an alert through your paired phone, sharing your message and your phone’s location with your circle.

05

Cancel if it was a mistake

A short cancellation window and your PIN let you stop an accidental alert.

06

Receive confirmation

A confirmation lets you know when a trusted contact has acknowledged your alert.

Product concept · Alerts depend on a nearby paired phone, connectivity, and location permissions. Bejeweled is not an emergency service or a guarantee of safety.

Why safety matters

Every girl deserves to feel safe.

The need is real. These findings offer context — not a prediction of any individual’s risk.

Drink spiking is a safety concern, too.

Adding alcohol or drugs to someone’s drink without their knowledge or permission is spiking. It can leave someone vulnerable to sexual assault or rape.

UK Home Office · Spiking factsheet

Different populations and survey periods are shown above; adult statistics are not estimates for under-18s. A safety bead does not detect spiking or prevent violence. Responsibility always lies with the person causing harm.

Why we made Bejeweled

Help, without the panic of reaching for your phone.

Picture a 16-year-old walking home from the library after dark. If something feels off, she shouldn't have to unlock her phone, open an app and type a message. With Bejeweled, one discreet press quietly tells her trusted people where she is and that she needs them.

Feeling vulnerable alone or somewhere new is real. Our vision is a quiet way to reach the people you trust, through a Bluetooth bead tucked into jewelry you’ll actually want to wear. Choose your charms; keep your circle close.
